Reservation Terms for Holiday Homes Maridu
1. Confirmation of Booking:
Upon a successful booking, you will receive a confirmation detailing your chosen stay and its duration.
2. Costs and Included Services:
The total price of your stay includes:
Gas, water, and electricity
- Bed linens and towels
- Kitchen package (dishwashing brush, detergent, a maximum of 3 dishwasher tablets, dishcloth, and garbage bag)
- Tourist tax
- Final cleaning
- Wi-Fi
3. Payment Terms:
- 50% of the total amount must be paid within 3 days following the reservation. Failure to make this payment will result in the cancellation of the booking.
- If payment has been made via credit card on the website, the amount will be deducted from the account within 3 days and no further bank transfer is required.
- The remaining amount must be paid at least 4 weeks prior to arrival unless already processed via credit card on the website.
4. Bank Transfer (if not paid by credit card):

- Account Name: Holiday Homes Maridu
- Please use the period of your stay and the name of the holiday home as a reference.
5. House Rules:
- The property can only be inhabited by the number of persons specified during the booking.
- Charges will be applied in cases of theft or loss.
- Parties or gatherings are not allowed.
- Check-out must occur by 10:00 AM. Late check-outs will result in additional charges.
- Guests are expected to leave the house tidy; otherwise, additional cleaning charges may apply.
- Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited.
6. Key Information:
- You will receive information on how to access the property prior to your arrival.
7. Cancellation Policy:
- For cancellations up to 4 weeks prior to arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- For bookings at our Dutch properties on Europarcs, no refunds will be issued after the reservation has been made.

Additional terms
1. Maximum Occupancy:
Each vacation home has a set maximum occupancy. Guests are not permitted to stay with more people than the indicated number unless this has been agreed upon in writing beforehand. Exceeding this number can lead to termination of the rental agreement without a refund of the paid rental fees.
2. Pets:
Pets are only allowed in the vacation home with prior written consent. Additional fees might be charged for pets. Guests are liable for any damage caused by their pets.
3. Smoking:
In all vacation homes of "Holiday Homes Maridu", smoking is strictly prohibited. Violation can result in a fine equal to the deposit or a predetermined amount.
4. Deposit:
Upon arrival, a security deposit may be required. After departure and inspection of the home, this deposit will be refunded, provided there is no damage, loss, or violation of the house rules.
5. Force Majeure and Cancellation by Landlord:
In cases of force majeure (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or unforeseen closure of facilities), "Holiday Homes Maridu" reserves the right to cancel the booking. The renter will be informed as soon as possible and will receive a full refund of the amount already paid.
6. Liability:
"Holiday Homes Maridu" is not liable for loss, theft, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused to the renters unless this is a direct result of gross negligence on the part of "Holiday Homes Maridu".
7. Hostess Support:
The hostess of "Holiday Homes Maridu" primarily welcomes guests, answers questions, assists with check-in and check-out, and addresses any inconveniences in the home during your stay.
Incidents or problems that arise during the trip that are not related to the stay should be reported directly to Holiday Homes Maridu upon or before arrival. Using the services of our hostess for tasks or responsibilities that cannot be attributed to the hostess's job description will be charged at a rate of €35,- per hour. This will be invoiced to you afterwards and/or deducted from the remaining deposit to be refunded.
8. Complaints:
Complaints about the stay or service should be reported as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours after noticing, to the manager or hostess of the vacation home. If a complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, it can be submitted in writing and with reasons to "Holiday Homes Maridu" no later than 1 month after departure.
9. Additional services:
Additional services, such as bicycle rental or breakfast service, need to be reserved in advance and may incur additional costs.
- For cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
